Steve Harvey is known for his perspicacious and hilarious comedy. Yes, his mouth is full more vinegar than a Long John Silvers, but believe me, he is very saved and passionate about God. Without disclosing, trust me, I know from whence I speak. After you watch this week's video evangelism, you will not only agree but you will discover there are full-time pastors and evangelists that couldn't ring in the rapture this good. I was there live when this happened, and what you didn't see was the Ch-uuch tha

I thought that would get your attention, you dirty-minded Wall watcher you. Anywhoo, as now the media reconnoiters away on the presumptive republican Veep, Gov. Palin told ministry students at her former church that the United States sent troops to fight in the Iraq war on a “task that is from God.” No, really… Now, the snarky liberal folk out there will say something like, “And I thought Muslim terrorists were the only ones in Iraq doing the will of God.” Har har, but beat you to it. So there.

Fitting, huh? You know, there is nothing on this earth quite as funny as human loss of life, namely when the thoughts of floating bodies, drowning old people, levees breaking and families forced into poverty and homelessness. Doesn’t just thinking about the Hurricane Katrina visual make you buckle your knees in complete laughter? No? Maybe it’s just this complete waste of DNA, Michael Moore as seen on MSNBC. Stay classy, Mikey! You too, Olbermann. So, 70 people dying and 2 MILLION evacuated from their

The one - and only - interview fraudulent worship leader and cancer survivor, Michael Guglielmucci, has finally made it on YouTube. It’s nine minutes, and is harrowing every second of the way. Check it out and read along after as HiScrivener opines. The details about his act and the results of his stunt leave most breathless. Fortunately, I will be an exception to that rule. Guglielmucci closes with, “From now on I’m telling the truth.” A federal subpeona has that effect, brother. After the money y

This week's saga of video evangelism, we find something that would make Charles Darwin's Gen-Y progeny proud. Girls everywhere have butchered self-images because of the Size 0 starlets seen on billboards. You know that adage, "There's more than meets the eye." Evidently, that begins with a session of Photoshop. Hopefully, this video becomes gospel and shackles of girls who feel like they have to grow up to fast will be shattered.

“An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.”(Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.) Regardless if you are old enough to have lived through the tempest of hatred during the 1960s or just young enough to get to read about the Civil Rights Movement in school, the reality of the famed “I Have a Dream” speech is more alive today than it ever has been since it was delivered 45 years ago today in the

Huh?! Phil Keaggy. You know, the same bible-believing, Jesus-loving cat that was referenced by the late, great Jimi Hendrix walking off stage at Woodstock after playing his historic version of the “Star Spangled Banner”. Really? Yeah, some news guy asked him, “Hey Jimi. How does it feel to be the world’s greatest guitarist?” Hendrix replied, “I don’t know. Ask Phil Keaggy.” Yes, WAY! Well, it’s a good thing Phil Keaggy is very saved and sanctified, because folk in Utah think he’s a tool

This week’s “Cross Eyed” video is a little longer than usual, but well worth it if you enjoy how ministry can happen without words. Have you ever heard of “The Splat Experience?” If not, visit the Site and watch this video. Artist Marc Eckel has an astounding new definition to the “visual arts” in ministry. His passion to bring Jesus to life will unveil in front of your eyes. At least, that’s what happened to me when I saw this guy writing words on a chalkboard on Daystar, and then Jesus was

Meet Anti-Church Mom of the Year: Christy Roper. You see, she has an interesting nightlife. While churchgoers are tucked away in their beds praying to the sweet baby Jesus, Roper is off breaking into their churches stealing from poor and making them poorer. Oh yeah, WITH HER THREE-YEAR OLD SON IN-TOW! I guess with child-care costs as they are, she has a clear conscience. Good thing, because when she is in prison and he is robbing banks, she'll have these special "mother-son" filed trips to think about

You know, that's the thing about a relationship with Jesus. Everything is honky dory, and then one day (in the words of Todd Bentley), "BAM!" It's going to be like without a relationship with Jesus as well. Check this video and if anyone you know needs a little "pick me up" out of the sea of despair in which they are drowning, send it. There are a couple of twists, so watch the whole thing. This week is a doozie.

We had to film outside and it was very cold, but the crew was so wonderful about trying to make us as comfortable as possible between shots!!! W e cant wait to see the movie!!
